This documentary examines the early career of Eno and his key role as a bridgemaker between rock and the avant garde, from his days as synth player with Roxy Music to his monumentally influential Ambient series and production work with Bowie. As copious footage and interviews with colleagues attest, Eno altered our fundamental ideas about just how music should be both made and heard, drawing on the ideas of Cage, Reich and Satie.
