GRAYSON PERRY, BRIAN ENO AND PETER BAZALGETTE TO ATTEND SHEFFIELD DOC/FEST
The world premiere of the Martin Scorsese and David Tedeschi directed film, The New York Review Of Books is the headline of the 2014 Sheffield Doc/Fest this June.
That is one of twenty-one world premieres, twelve European premieres and twenty-four UK premieres being screened at the event, which opens with the music documentary, Pulp: A Film About Life, Death And Supermarkets.
Speakers include artists Grayson Perry and Jeremy Deller; Arts Council England chair, Peter Bazalgette; musician Brian Eno; and film-maker, John Pilger.
There will, once more, be a mixture of music and screen, with Kim Longinoto's Love Is All, complete with a soundtrack by Sheffield's Richard Hawley; and the festival will close with Saint Etienne performing the live soundtrack to Paul Kelly's How We Used To Live - a montage of footage from London.
