BRIAN ENO ANNOUNCES NEW APP, BLOOM: 10 WORLDS

The tenth anniversary edition of Eno and Peter Chilvers' music-making app arrives in December

Brian Eno and musician/software designer Peter Chilvers are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their generative music app Bloom with a "developed, augmented and expanded new edition." Bloom: 10 Worlds will be released officially on December 7. It will be available for iPhone, iPad, and, for the first time, Android devices.

Bloom allows users to create music simply by touching the screen. The new edition features a wider variety of sounds and artwork. According to a product description, "If the original Bloom was a single, then this would be an album."
