THE GREAT PRETENDER: BRIAN ENO MODELS FOR ALFRED DUNHILL
Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno has made some particularly bold style choices over the years but frankly we've never seen him look better. The sixty-four-year-old Eno has been announced as one of the faces of Alfred Dunhill's spring/summer 2013 Voice campaign. Eno's fellow participants include mountaineer Geordie Stewart and war photographer Don McCullin, joining the illustrious ranks of Sir David Frost, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and John Hurt. The accompanying video interview is filled with words to live by: "...the big mistake is waiting for inspiration to happen. It won't come looking for you," he says, "you have to build a trap to catch it". Considering the man has just released his twenty-fifth studio album Lux (out now on Warp), this is a life lesson we'll be adopting from now onwards.
