IMBRUGLIA 'TURNED DOWN STRICTLY'
Singer Natalie Imbruglia has revealed she turned down the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
Imbruglia said she was a former "dance school kid and I'd probably be really good at it" but confessed "I'd be really terrified".
The singer, thirty-four, has just released a new single called Want, which was co-produced by Coldplay's Chris Martin.
She confirmed that she will appear in a forthcoming episode of ITV's Adrenaline Junkie, presented by Jack Osbourne.
Imbruglia said: "I climbed a mountain, I did free-diving, I attempted to do mountain biking but I was terrible at it and I kept getting off the bike and walking.
"But it was really good fun."
She added: "I seem to be turning into an adrenaline junkie in my old age."
BRIAN ENO
Martin worked with Imbruglia on three tracks for her forthcoming album Come To Life, which is due out early next year.
But she refused to disclose how much the award-winning frontman charges per song.
She said: "He's very generous, he just rang up and I thought he was just going to send me a song but he was like, 'No, I want us to work together and develop it together'.
"He told me that Brian Eno said we could use his studio. Next thing I know, we're at his studio and he's like, 'Come in, have a cup of tea'."
Producer Eno, who has worked with some of the biggest name in music including David Bowie and Talking Heads has also contributed to Imbruglia's album.
She added: "Brian Eno is someone that you don't want to sound stupid in front of, and everything he said, I was just like, 'Wow'.
"I lost my tongue that day."
