CELEBS, NOBEL LAUREATES MAKE PRO-PALESTINIAN VIDEO

A diverse group of celebrities, artists and activists - including a number of American Jews, Nobel Prize winners and other activists - have participated in the creation of video that's been released online, supporting Palestinian human rights.

Narrated by actor and playwright Wallace Shawn, the video includes a large collection of famous folks, holding signs with the names and ages of Palestinian civilians recently killed by the Israeli military actions in Gaza.

Among those participating include Gloria Steinem, hip hop legend Chuck D, playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner, Eve Ensler (Vagina Monologues), Oscar-winning director Jonathan Demme, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, singer-composer Brian Eno, director Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding), filmmaker Ken Loach, singer Holly Near, humorist Kate Clinton - plus Nobel laureates Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Rigoberta Menchu, Jody Williams and Adolfo Perez Esquivel.
